Nail Files: My Spring Polish Picks

Seeing as it’s officially spring, I thought it would be fun to share my favorite nail polish hues of the season. I have my go-to year-round colors, of course (pastel pink and red), but I tend to switch up my polish routine as the weather changes. Here’s a breakdown of the top five colors I’m loving for spring:

Vintage Blue

Not quite robin’s egg and not quite royal blue, I love this vintage cerulean hue. It kind of reminds me of a paint job on a classic car. Try Essie’s Truth or Flare, which is what I’m wearing in the photo above. Continuum by Formula X for Sephora is a similar shade.

Pastel Purple

It’s probably no surprise that pastel purple is on my polish list for spring. This feminine shade is so sweet this time of year, and reminds me of lilacs and lavender in bloom. I’m wearing e.l.f.’s Lilac, but you can also try Laura Mercier’s Reckless.

Rosy Mauve

Mauve was also one of my color picks for winter, but this season I prefer a rosier version of the color. You’ll notice that the rosy mauve I’m wearing for spring (Nude by e.l.f.) is an almost perfect match with the rose shade you see all over LaurenConrad.com! Maybe that’s why I love it so much…

Pale Pink

Pastel pink is a great year-round color. But for spring in particular, I love a pink so pale that it’s almost white (like Essie’s Fiji). It looks great on both tan and fair skin tones. Other pale pinks I love include Tra La La by Dior and Rose Petal from Dolce & Gabanna.

Light Teal

Light teal is another color that really screams spring. Plus, it’s a touch edgier than my other polish picks, which is always fun. I often choose a more classic shade on my fingers, and then go for something fun like this on my toes. The polish in the photo above is Essie’s Fashion Playground.
